Asus releases Chromebook Flip C434 in April for a price starting at 599 euros – update
Asus will release the Chromebook Flip C434 announced at CES in April in the Benelux for a suggested retail price starting at 599 euros. The Chromebook convertible has a 14″ screen with thin bezels and an aluminum housing.
There will be different configurations and the cheapest will cost 599 euros, Asus reports. It is not clear which hardware is included in that model. The maximum configuration consists of a Core i7-8500Y, 8GB ram and 128GB flash storage. The storage space can be expanded with a micro SD card.
The 14″ screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and is attached with a hinge that can rotate 360 degrees. The Chromebook Flip can also be used as a kind of tablet. The Flip C434 has an 802.11ac WiFi chip, stereo speakers and two USB -c ports There is also a USB-a connection and the battery has a capacity of 48Wh.
The Chromebook Flip C434 runs on Google’s Chrome OS and has support for Android apps via the Play Store. Asus introduced the device at the CES fair early this year. In April, the Chromebook convertible should be for sale in stores and web shops in the Benelux.
