Asus provides ZenBook Pro 15 with a 4k OLED screen and GTX 1650 Ti
Asus announces the ZenBook Pro 15 for graphics professionals. The laptop has a 4k OLED screen, ScreenPad and a GTX 1650 Ti. Asus also releases the lightweight laptops ZenBook 14 and ExpertBook.
With the ZenBook Pro 15, Asus wants to combine a good screen with powerful hardware and portability for graphic artists who do not want to be connected to a fixed workplace. That screen is touch-sensitive, has a diagonal of 15.6 inches in the most extensive configuration of the laptop, an OLED panel that can display the UHD resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Asus claims that the panel can display 100 percent of the dci-p3 color space. The company also releases variants with LCD and 1080p resolution. The laptop is 17.8mm thick and weighs 1.8 kilograms.
The Pro 15 UX535 appears in variants with Intel Core i7-10750H and i5-10300H and with an Nvidia 1650 with Max-Q and the Ti variant of that video card. In addition, the laptop includes Asus’ ScreenPad, the 5.65 “touchscreen integrated into the trackpad, which works in conjunction with certain applications and tasks.
Asus also includes the ScreenPad with the ZenBook 14. This laptop has a 14 “screen, 17mm thick and weighs from 1.2 to 1.3 kilograms, depending on configuration. An Ultralight model will also be released with a magnesium alloy body that is 14.9mm thick and Weighs 980 grams. The laptop should have thin screen edges, which are 6.1 mm at the top, 2.6 mm at the sides and 3.3 mm at the bottom. The laptop appears in a UX435EA variant with only the Intel Xe as GPU while the UX435EG version has an Nvidia GeForce MX450 in addition to it.
Finally, Asus announces the arrival of the ExpertBook B9, a 14 “laptop for business purposes that has a relatively low weight at 880 grams. This is the variant with 33Wh battery. There will also be a version with 66Wh battery. and it weighs a bit more at 1 kilogram. The housing is made of a magnesium-lithium alloy and has a thickness of 14.9 mm. This laptop does not get a ScreenPad but a NumberPad 2.0, or an illuminated numpad that is integrated into the trackpad. Furthermore, Asus supplies this laptop with an accessory box that can be folded out to serve as a stand.
Prices and release dates are not yet known at the time of writing.
