Asus introduces ZenBooks with thin screen bezels

Asus has announced new ZenBooks at the Computex trade show in Taiwan. Among the new models is the ZenBook Flip S, a convertible with a thickness of 10.9mm. Asus has also announced the ZenBook Pro with UHD screen and GTX 1050 Ti.

The ZenBook Flip S has a 13.3-inch screen with UHD resolution that can be folded. The screen edges are 6.11 mm thick on the sides and, according to Asus, the screen-to-body ratio is 80 percent. the convertible is 10.9 mm and according to the company, the Flip S is 20 percent thinner than Apple’s MacBook. It weighs 1.1 kilograms. Asus has placed a fingerprint sensor for logging in on the side. The system also has Intel Core i7 processors, up to 1TB SSD storage and up to 16GB lpddr3 ram.The suggested retail price starts at $ 1099, converted and with VAT, that is 1190 euros.

Asus also announced the ZenBook 3 Deluxe. This is a 14″ laptop with a thickness of 12.9 mm and a weight of 1.1 kilograms. The screen edges of this model are 7.46 mm wide on the sides and partly because of this, the 14″ screen fits in a body that used to be for 13 .3″ laptops would be used. The keyboard can be illuminated and there are four speakers for surround sound. Asus supplies the model with Core i5s and i7s, up to 1TB SSD storage and a maximum of 16GB of ram. Finally, Asus has publicly announced the ZenBook Pro. This laptop has already appeared at a few webshops. It is a laptop with a thickness of 18.9 mm and a weight of 1.8 kilograms, which is provided by Asus with an Intel Core i5 or i7 quadcore in the H series. In addition, the laptop has the GTX 1050 Ti video card from Nvidia. The 15.6″ screen has a maximum UHD resolution and Asus does not mention a width for the screen edges, but the screen-to-body ratio is 83 percent.
