Asus comes with two new ZenPads with Android 6.0 and MediaTek-soc

Asus has announced two new ZenPad tablets. The successors of the ZenPad 8 and 10 are equipped with a better processor and have an 8-inch and a 10-inch screen respectively.

For example, the 8″ ZenPad Z380M has a quadcore MediaTek MT8163-soc on board with 1.3GHz and the tablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In addition, the device has 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage, which can be expanded via an SD card to 128GB The screen is an IPS panel with a resolution of 1200×800 pixels.

The tablet, with a size of 209x123x8.5mm and a weight of 350 grams, is equipped with a two-megapixel camera on the front; on the back, that’s a five-megapixel model. In addition to a 4000mAh battery, there is also bluetooh 4.0, WiFi ac and GPS.

The larger version, the 10″ ZenPad Z300M, has the same soc with similar performance. The only difference with the Z380M is that the screen is larger and the battery has a capacity of 4860mAh. The 8″ variant is for sale from a suggested retail price of 159 euros, the larger version from 199 euros. Both will be available in the week of May 23 in the colors black and white. With the larger ones, users can still opt for metallic, and the ZenPad S 8.0 will remain available for €239, as will the ZenPad C 7.0, which costs €129.
