Asus announces ZenPad 3S 10 Android tablet

Asus has announced the Zenpad S3 10, a tablet with a 9.7 “screen that runs Android 6.0. The tablet has a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels and the processor is the MT8176 from MediaTek.

The Zenpad S3 10 with type number Z500M measures 5.8mm at its thinnest point, 7.15mm at its thickest. The weight is 430 grams. The MT8176 is a soc with two Cortex A72 cores and four Cortex A53 cores, with a maximum clock speed of 2.1GHz and an IMG GX6250 GPU at 600MHz. The battery capacity is 5900mAh.

Asus has provided the tablet with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space, which can be expanded by means of the SD memory card slot. The Zenpad supports connections via wifi-ac, bluetooth 4.2 and miracast. Furthermore, a USB 2.0 type-c connection is present and the tablet has two speakers. The Zenpad S3 10 can handle the Asus Active Pen stylus, according to specifications and photos the Mobile01 put online.

Asus brings the tablet on the market in August in its home country Taiwan, for a price that is converted to 336 euros. It is unknown when the Zenpad S3 10 will come to the Benelux.
