Asus announces gaming monitors with 120Hz panels and HDMI 2.1 connections
Asus has announced some new gaming monitors with HDMI 2.1 certification. This includes three 4k screens in the Republic of Gamers series. The monitors will be available at the end of this year. Recommended prices are not yet known.
Asus reports in a press release that the ROG monitors are certified for the HDMI 2.1 standard. This allows the screens to use the full bandwidth of 48Gbit / s, according to the company. As a result, the monitors offer a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels with variable refresh rates up to 120Hz via HDMI. It is not known whether the monitors have other connections.
The screens will be available in three variants, with screen diagonals of 27 “, 32” and 43 “. Asus discloses little further details about the monitors.
