Asus announces euro prices Zenfone 3 series

Asus has announced euro prices for its Zenfone 3 series smartphones for the first time. The cheapest version, the Zenfone 3 Max with a large battery, will cost 199 euros. For the most expensive version, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, a suggested retail price of 699 euros applies.

Nothing is known yet about a release in the Benelux of the Zenfone 3s, which Asus has presented from the beginning of the summer. The euro prices are the Italian suggested retail prices, which NotebookItalia has put online after a presentation from the manufacturer.

The cheapest is the Zenfone 3 Max, with a 4100mAh battery, a screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a quad-core soc from MediaTek on board. The regular Zenfone 3 comes in two sizes: one with a 5.2″ screen and one with a slightly larger 5.5″ screen. The Deluxe has an OLED screen and a more powerful soc, and is considered a high-end model, while the Ultra with its 6.8 “screen almost looks like a tablet in terms of size and weight. The phones will be released in Italy from the end of September.
