Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Expansion Dawn of Ragnarök Coming March 10
Ubisoft has announced a new story expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In Dawn of Ragnarök, gamers play as the Norse god Odin. The expansion will be released on March 10, 2022.
Ubisoft reports in a press release that the Dawn of Ragnarök DLC contains “more than 35 hours” of gameplay. In the expansion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla protagonist Eivor drinks a potion, after which he or she has a vision. In that vision, Eivor becomes the Norse god Odin. Players then go in search of Baldr, the son of Odin. The DLC takes place partly in the Svartalfheim, a dwarf kingdom under invasion. This happens during Ragnarök, a mythological event that includes the demise of the gods. Several new enemies are also introduced. The DLC pack will be released on March 10 for all platforms.
Ubisoft also introduces Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories. This is a two story series that explains how the main characters of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are connected. In it, two new islands are introduced. One of the stories will be playable for free in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and the other will be added for free to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Both stories will appear on Tuesday, December 14.
