Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gets 60fps update for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is getting an update that will allow the game to run at 60fps on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. Currently, the console version of the game is only playable at 30fps. The update will be available on August 24.

According to Ubisoft, players can expect the update on Tuesday.. This will allow users who play the game via backward compatibility on the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft to play at a higher frame rate. The update is 370MB in size for Xbox users and 470MB for PlayStation players.

Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game takes place in ancient Greece between 431 and 422 BC where players can choose from two characters.
