Assassin’s Creed III Remastered Coming March 29th
Ubisoft will release the Assassin’s Creed III remaster on March 29. This updated version of the game from 2012 includes support for 4k resolutions and HDR monitors. The lighting, textures, controls and gameplay have also been given a facelift.
Ubisoft is announcing the release date with a trailer, which puts the two versions of the game side by side for comparison. All AC3 DLC is also included, such as The Tyranny of King Washington, an alternate version of history in which George Washington plays the antagonist role. The remaster will be out for Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The remaster also includes a polished version of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. That game originally appeared for the PS Vita, Windows, PS3 and Xbox 360. For those with the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass, the Assassin’s Creed III remaster is free, the bundle of polished games is available separately in the Ubisoft Store for 50 euros, but that is a luxury Signature version with extras. A regular version is not yet available in the download store.
