ASRock shows mini PCs with Intel Tiger Lake CPUs and 2.5Gbit / s Ethernet port
ASRock showcases a series of mini PCs equipped with Intel Tiger Lake laptop processors. These are 10nm CPUs with an integrated Intel Xe GPU. There will be variants with an Intel Core i3, i5 and i7. ASRock previously showed variants with Ryzen 4000 processors.
The ASRock website lists three models in the new NUC 1100 BOX series: the NUC BOX-1165G7, NUC BOX-1135G7 and the NUC BOX-1115G4. The naming refers to the processors used; the former contains the Core i7-1165G7 and the other two feature a Core i5-1135G7 and Core i3-1115G4 respectively. The i7 and i5 are quad core models, the i3 is a dual core.
The cabinets have dimensions of 110×117.5×47.9mm and are equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and a 2.5Gbit / s Ethernet port. There is room for a M.2 SSD of up to 2280 format and a SATA SSD or HDD of 2.5 “can be installed. The NUC 1100 BOX models have space for two memory bars and support up to 64GB of ddr4-3200.
Last month ASRock already showed comparable barebones, but with Ryzen 4000U processors, with up to eight cores. These versions have the same dimensions and similar properties. When ASRock’s mini-computers will appear and what they will cost is not yet known.
