ASRock releases three mitx motherboards for Kaby Lake CPUs
ASRock has released three mitx-format motherboards with support for Intel’s Kaby Lake CPUs. The top model is the Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming-ITX/ac, with an eight-phase VRM and a reinforced PCIe 3.0 x16 slot.
In addition to the small Fatal1ty motherboard, ASRock releases the Z270M-ITX/ac and an H270 variant. The three motherboards are all equipped with an 802.11ac WiFi module, offer space for two DDR4 strips and have six SATA-600 ports. There is also an m2 slot, which can be used for PCIe SSDs.
With the Fatal1ty motherboard, which has a matte black pcb, ASRock offers support for overclocked memory up to ddr4 4000. With the Z270 board, this is according to the specifications up to ddr4 3733. The motherboard with the H270 chipset is not suitable for overclocking.
At the back, six USB 3.0 ports are available on all boards. The Fatal1ty model also has a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support. The gamer board has one gigabit Ethernet port, the other two boards have two.
