ASRock introduces two thin-itx motherboards for Intel Comet Lake CPUs
ASRock has announced two new motherboards for Intel’s Comet Lake desktop processors. This concerns models with a B460 or H410 chipset. Both models have a thin-itx form factor. The suggested retail prices are not yet known.
ASRock announces the motherboards in a blog post. For example, the thin-itx form factor is intended for use in thin SFF PCs or all-in-one computers. Both the B460TM-ITX and H410TM-ITX have a four-phase power design. Both variants are powered by a 19V DC adapter and a 4-pin connector. The motherboards have an LGA-1200 socket and support Intel Comet Lake-S CPUs with a TDP of up to 65W, ASRock reports.

The motherboards both have two Sodimm slots, with support for up to 64GB of DDR4 memory. A PCI-e slot for GPUs is missing. For storage devices, both models have an m2-2280 slot for SSDs and two SATA 3 connections. There is also an m2-key E-slot for a WiFi or Bluetooth module.
The motherboards have four USB 3.2 Gen 1 type-A ports. These offer throughput speeds of up to 5Gbit/s. The two models also have an rj45 connection for gigabit ethernet, two 3.5 mm jacks for audio, two hdmi 1.4 connectors and a serial connector. ASRock is not yet announcing suggested retail prices for the motherboards. It is also not yet clear when the products will go on sale.
