ASRock Introduces Mini-ITX-based DeskMeet Barebones for Intel and AMD
ASRock announces the DeskMeet B660 and X300. These barebones for Intel and AMD processors respectively have a capacity of eight liters and according to the manufacturer should allow the user to easily build and upgrade a small form factor PC.
The dimensions of the DeskMeet barebones are 218.3x168x219.3mm. As the name implies, the ASRock B660 is based on the Intel B660 chipset. The barebone therefore supports the new Intel processors of the Alder Lake generation. The height of the CPU cooler can be a maximum of 54mm. This model includes one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots for SSDs with Ms 2280 form factor.
The DeskMeet X300 includes an AMD AM4 motherboard for AMD Ryzen APUs and CPUs with a TDP up to 65W. This model has to make do with a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and a single PCIe 3.0 X4 slot for storage. Both systems can hold a video card with a maximum length of 20 centimeters and ASRock supplies them with 80+ Bronze 500W power supplies.
