ASRock comes with a variant of its H110-STX motherboard with an mxm slot. GPU modules for laptops can be placed in this slot, with a TDP of up to 120 watts. The motherboard has an lga1151 socket for Intel processors.

According to TechPowerUp, ASRock supplies the motherboard including a 220W power adapter. The board has room for two ddr4-so-dimms, for a maximum of 32GB of RAM. Furthermore, there are two sata600 connections and the board has an m2 slot with a throughput rate of 32Gbit/s. The mxm slot uses the pcie-e 3.0 x16 interface.

It is not known whether ASRock will release the board separately for consumers, or whether it is only intended for system builders to make compact gaming PCs. A price has not yet been announced. Video cards in mxm format are difficult to obtain for consumers. It is possible to obtain the modules through marketplaces such as eBay, but they are often for sale there at high prices and it also usually concerns older models of the Maxwell generation.

The motherboard with Intel H110 chipset is made according to the stx form factor for small systems. In terms of surface area, the form factor is 29 percent smaller than mini-itx. The motherboard with mxm connection is a variant of the previously released H110-STX motherboard from ASRock.
