Arkane Studios Austin Co-op FPS Redfall Coming Summer 2022

Arkane Studios Austin is working on a new game called Redfall, which will be about a team of people, some of whom have super powers. They hunt vampires supported by their own army. The game should be released in the summer of next year.

According to the trailer description, Redfall will be an open world first-person shooter with co-op. The vampires have attacked the town of Redfall in the state of Massachusetts, shutting it down and blocking all the sunlight that gets to the island. It’s up to the survivors to take out the vampires. The game was unveiled at this year’s Microsoft E3 presentation.

At the helm of gamemaker Arkane Studios Austin is Harvey Smith, who has worked on the Dishonored games, Prey, Thief: Deadly Shadows and Deus Ex in the past. Arkane’s other location, in Lyon, is working on Deathloop in the meantime.

Redfall is set to release in the summer of 2022 for PCs and the Xbox Series X and S. The game will also be available from the start via the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
