ARK: Survival Evolved is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 30th
Studio Wildcard has announced that the game ARK: Survival Evolved will be released on Nintendo Switch on November 30th. The game, which revolves around survival on a prehistoric island full of dinosaurs, is already available for Windows, Linux, OS X, PS4 and Xbox One.
The Switch version of the game was created in collaboration with Abstraction Games. The game features the original island from ARK: Survival Evolved and features over a hundred different beasts, including prehistoric dinosaur-inspired reptiles, as well as fantasy beasts such as yetis. The game can be played as a solo adventure, but it is also possible to team up with others online.
In the survival game Ark: Survival Evolved, the player is stranded on a prehistoric island. Players will have to hunt, collect, craft, grow, build and fight to withstand the elements, dinosaurs and other players. Dinosaurs can also eventually be tamed and used as a means of transportation. Players can continue to develop the technology, up to the production of, for example, laser cannons, which can be placed on a tame tyrannosaurus for example.
ARK: Survival Evolved is known for not always running very well on significantly more powerful hardware than that of the Nintendo Switch. It is not clear how the parties have now adapted this title for a smooth gameplay experience on Nintendo’s console.
