Arduino is working on intelligent modules
Arduino is working on a modular system called Eslöv that will allow users to assemble products themselves. According to the organization, these are ‘intelligent’ modules that can interact with each other.
Arduino made Eslöv’s announcement at the Arduino Day event at MIT in Massachusetts. “A creative person can connect the modules together and build a device in seconds,” said Massimo Banzi, one of the founders of Arduino, according to Makezine.
Hundreds of modules should appear in a few months, the founder claimed. “Arduino is no longer a tool for prototyping, but also for assembling products,” he continued. However, he did not yet give many details about the modular system. It seems to be getting similar to Little Bits.
Arduino will demonstrate the project during the Maker Faire Bay Area, which will take place on May 16 and 17.
