Arctic presents a new series of processor coolers. The Freezer 33 models feature a 120mm PWM fan that only spins when the processor is under load. According to the manufacturer, the coolers are quieter and perform better than the i32 models.

Arctic comes with three variants of its Freezer 33 cooler, as successors to the i32 models. The basic model is called Freezer 33, the Freezer 33 Plus is a variant with two fans and finally there is the Freezer 33 CO, which is intended for constant load. According to the manufacturer, this model has special ball bearings that last up to five times longer than other ball bearings.

The Freezer 33 cooling tower consists of 49 aluminum fins with a thickness of 0.5mm and four heatpipes are used in the design. The whole has dimensions of 123x95x150mm and weighs 641 grams. The 120mm fan has a variable speed from 0 to 1350rpm. At low workloads such as browsing or watching video, Arctic says the fan does not need to rotate to cool the processor.

The Freezer 33 and 33 Plus are now available for €46 and €50 respectively. The 33 CO version will follow in April, which also costs 50 euros. The coolers come with mounting kits for all common Intel and AMD sockets and are also compatible with the new AM4 socket for Ryzen processors. Arctic supplies a bag of its MX-4 thermal paste with the CPU coolers.
