Arctic will send free repair kits to owners of a particular group of Liquid Freezer II coolers upon request. During production, something went wrong with the sealing of the coolers. Customers also have the option to send the cooler in for repair.

According to Arctic These are Liquid Freezer II coolers made between May 2021 and March 2022. Because the rubber seal is insufficiently vulcanized, a chemical reaction can occur with the copper coldplate. This can cause a decrease in cooling performance and “possible coolant loss”.

That is why Arctic recommends repairing the cooling as soon as possible, although the problems do not occur immediately. The manufacturer offers free repair kits, which contain a new seal, a cold plate and additional coolant. Arctic also shared a video, showing how to replace the parts. The coolers can also be sent for repair. In that case, it will take several weeks for the cooler to be repaired and returned to the customer.
