Archos comes with three Oxygen tablets with Android 6.0
Archos will bring three Android tablets on the market in May, which are equipped with Android 6.0 and have a MediaTek soc and full-HD screen. The Archos 70, 80 and 101b Oxygen have screens of 7″, 8″ and 10.1″. The smallest model costs 100 euros.
In terms of specifications, the new Oxygen tablets are largely the same. Only the dimensions and battery capacities differ per model. The housings are made of aluminum and the screens use IPS panels with 1920×1200 pixels. The tablets contain an MTK8163-soc with four cores at 1.3GHz, 2GB ram and 16GB storage space.
The tablets have a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. The Archos 70 Oxygen has a battery capacity of 3000mAh, the 80 Oxygen has 4500mAh and the largest model, the 101b Oxygen, has a 6000mAh battery.
Archos will show the three new tablets at the Mobile World Congress at the end of February, but has already announced most of the details. The Oxygen tablets will be available in stores from May. The 7-inch model costs 99.99 euros, the 8-inch variant costs 129.99 euros and the 101b with a 10-inch screen costs 169.99 euros.
