Apple will launch its own wearable in September
Apple will announce all its smart wearable on September 9, reports the usually well-established Recode. That would happen at the same time as the announcement of two new iPhone models, it is rumored.
Initially, Recode thought that the wearable would only come in October, but the site now reports that the new device will be announced on September 9. According to earlier rumors, Apple will also announce two new iPhones on that day, with 4.7″ and 5.5″ screens. That date has been circulating since the end of May, when a document from provider Telekom appeared online stating that the iPhone would be released on September 19. In recent years, Apple has invariably presented new iPhones ten days before release.
The rumor about an Apple smartwatch has been circulating since late 2012. Recode expects the device to make at least “good use” of HomeKit and HealthKit, two new iOS features for controlling home automation systems and tracking. of health.
It is not yet known what the new wearable will look like, or whether it is a smartwatch, as rumors suggest. The fact that so little has surfaced online, while so much has been published about the new iPhones, suggests that the smartwatch’s release won’t happen immediately; with new product categories, Apple often leaves a gap of months between announcement and release: with the iPad it took more than two months, with the iPhone in 2007 there was almost half a year between presentation and release.
The new iPhones would have a larger screen with diagonals of 4.7″ and 5.5″, while the design has been modified with rounded sides and a camera that protrudes slightly. If the presentation does indeed take place on September 9, it is obvious that Apple will send the invitations for it next Tuesday: in recent years this happened exactly one week before the event was due to take place.
