The Apple TV+ streaming service app has been released for Panasonic TVs from 2017. The app works with TVs equipped with the My Home Screen operating system from the series with the prefixes EZ, EX, FZ, FX, GZ, GX, HZ, HX , JZ and JX.

All compatible TVs have the Apple TV+ icon in the app view, and some models have the Apple TV+ app placed on the home screen, Panasonic wrote in a press release. The app is available immediately for numerous 4k TVs from the Japanese manufacturer.

The app allows users of the concerned Panasonic TVs to watch Apple TV+ productions, subject to a subscription. It’s not about the full Apple TV app that also integrates with iTunes and other providers. The app is similar to the version that came out earlier for older LG TVs.

According to FlatpanelsHD, support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos is still missing, but Panasonic tells the site that it is working with Apple to add support for those formats as soon as possible.
