Apple TV app is available on Nvidia Shield

Apple TV has also been available on Nvidia Shield since Tuesday. The Apple TV+ streaming service can be used via the app that has been available for download for the Nvidia Shield since Tuesday. Series, programs and movies can be streamed in 4K and HDR via the device.

The Nvidia website states that the Apple TV app is available immediately for Nvidia Shield. Apple TV subscribers can watch all content on Apple TV available for their region through the app. The app for Nvidia Shield supports 4K streams.

The app can also be used with the Google Assistant on the Nvidia Shield. This allows streams to be started, paused and fast-forwarded via voice commands.

Earlier, the Apple TV app was also made available on the Chromecast with Google TV. The intention is that the app will also be released for Android TV, but it is not yet known when.
