Apple’s WWDC developer conference this year will take place from June 4-8 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Apple has announced. The invitation hints at announcements about augmented reality.

This is the 29th edition of Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference. Developers can apply for tickets through the WWDC ticketing site until March 22, 6:00 PM. Apple randomly distributes the cards. Last year at the conference, Apple announced ARKit, which allows developers to add augmented reality features to apps.

From the illustration that Apple publishes this year with the announcement of WWDC, it can be concluded that augmented reality will play a role again. In addition, it is expected that the company will announce more about iOS 12 and a new macOS version. Apple is rumored to be focusing more on stability and performance than on new features with iOS 12.

Last year at WWDC, Apple also announced the HomePod, the iMac Pro and an iPad Pro. There are currently rumors about the arrival of a cheaper MacBook, possibly in the Air series, but it is not known whether that announcement can be expected at WWDC 2018.
