Apple stops selling 15-inch MacBook Pro

Apple has stopped selling its 15″ version of the MacBook Pro, according to the manufacturer’s site. The current version was only available for six months. Apple has been selling laptops with 15″ LCD for eighteen years.

Apple started selling laptops with a 15″ screen with the Powerbook G4 from 2001. The G3 had a screen of up to 14.1″, but for the G4 Apple made a 15″ laptop. Then that screen size is in the range remained until Wednesday, when the manufacturer presented the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

The manufacturer now has a lineup with a MacBook Pro in two variants, the 13″ and 16″. The 2019 version of the 15.4″ version of the MacBook Pro has been on sale since the end of May. It was a specbump of an older version of the laptop.
