Apple starts offering annual subscription to game service Arcade

Apple has started offering an annual subscription for its game service Arcade. The price drops from 4.99 euros per month to 4.17 euros per month. Apple launched its gaming service this fall.

Apple offers Arcade for 50 euros per year, the price of ten monthly subscriptions, reports iFun.de. It is known for the first time that there is a longer subscription for the game service, which costs 4.17 euros per month instead of 4.99 euros. Arcade went live this fall and will allow users to play a limited number of games for free. The games have no in-game purchases, but are playable in their entirety thanks to the subscription.

There are now around a hundred games for Arcade. For the past month, the number of additions has been lower than in the weeks after the service’s release. Apple Arcade was released in mid-September, and then contained a total of 54 games. The version for macOS came out in October.
