Beginning June 30, App Store developers must allow users to delete user accounts directly through the app. This measure only applies to apps in which account creation is possible and comes after Apple already postponed the measure.

The option to delete a user account must be according to Apple easy to find in the app. Apps that only offer the option to temporarily deactivate user accounts do not comply with the rules according to the company because users must be able to actually delete their account, including their personal data.

From June 30, apps that organize online group activities must mandatory use of in-app purchases to offer their services. This measure was already introduced in 2020 but has been postponed several times.
