Apple releases iOS update to fix iPhone XS charging problem
Apple released iOS 12.0.1 on Monday. Among other things, the update aims to fix charging issues that some iPhone XS and XS Max smartphone users were experiencing.
The update to iOS 12.0.1 contains the expected fix for the issue where some iPhone XS units did not immediately charge when connected to a Lightning cable, the software release notes state. Those devices did not load automatically, but only started to do so after the screen was turned on, users experienced.
The update also fixes an issue where iPhones connected to a 2.4GHz instead of a 5GHz network, and restores the original position of the “.?123” key on the iPad keyboard. In addition, bluetooth issues have been fixed and some security vulnerabilities have been fixed.
