Apple releases iOS 13.1.2 with fix for camera and iCloud Backup

Apple released a new update for iOS and iPadOS on Monday. It concerns version 13.1.2; this follows quite soon after the release of versions 13.1 and 13.1.1. The latest version fixes a number of issues, such as a camera problem and an issue with iCloud Backup.

According to Apple, iOS 13.1.2 fixes a number of bugs and makes a number of improvements. For example, the progress bar could previously remain in view after a successful backup, something that should no longer occur with version 13.1.2. The same goes for an issue where the camera may not work and an issue with the built-in flashlight function.

There are also solutions for loss of display calibration data, a situation where shortcuts cannot be loaded from HomePod and cases where the bluetooth connection drops on some vehicles. For the iPad, iPadOS 13.1.2 brings the two aforementioned improvements to HomePod shortcuts and the iCloud Backup issue.

A new version is also available for watchOS, namely 6.0.1. This update fixes three issues, including a case where Mickey and Minnie Mouse faces don’t tell the time. Also includes an issue where the calendar does not show events and a bug that leads to a loss of display calibration data.

Apple released iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 a week ago, followed by iOS 13.1.1 a few days later. This release also fixed some issues, such as an issue where some users’ battery was draining faster than usual. In addition, 13.1.1 fixed an issue with Siri intelligibility.
