Apple releases beta iTunes 12 with new interface

Apple has released a beta version of iTunes 12. The software has a new interface that, according to the manufacturer, has been simplified. Apple also released a new beta version of OS X Yosemite and iOS 8.

The beta version of iTunes 12 has been rolled out by Apple for developers, who can install the software on an OS X machine. iClarified put a number of screenshots of the new iTunes version online, which according to Apple has a simplified interface. In addition, in iTunes 12 users have the option to share purchased content with up to six family members and the playlist functionality has been improved.

In addition to the beta version of iTunes released, new versions of OS X Yosemite and iOS 8 have also been released. These are also only available to developers for the time being. It is not yet known what innovations this most recent version of Apple’s desktop and mobile operating system will bring. The new software can be downloaded by developers through the Dev Center.
