Apple releases Beats Studio Pro Wireless headphones for 400 euros
Apple has released the Beats Studio Pro Wireless headphones for just under 400 euros. The wireless headphones are now available in sandstone, navy blue, deep brown and black.
The Beats Studio Pro Wireless looks largely the same as its predecessor, the Beats Studio 3 Wireless, although the Apple subsidiary does release some new features. Users can now also listen to wired audio via the USB-C charging port. Just like its predecessor, the Studio Pro Wireless also has a 3.5mm connection. There is also Dolby Atmos support and 360-degree surround sound that works in combination with head tracking.
The company also talks about improved ANC, or adaptive active noise cancellation, which should filter ambient noise even more effectively. There is also a transparency mode that amplifies ambient sound via the built-in microphones. Furthermore, the 40mm drivers are said to perform better than before. Beats promises 24 hours of maximum listening time when ANC is enabled, or 40 hours without the latter feature. It is not clear which audio chip is used in the headphones. The predecessor used a W1 audio chip from Apple.
Users can pair the Beats Studio Pro Wireless with iOS, Chromebook and Android devices via Bluetooth 5.3 or via the USB-C connection. All of these ecosystems support some form of search function that allows the headset to be located on a map. This is done based on the last location where the headphones were paired with the device in question.
