Apple Music gets playlist of new music that refreshes every day

Apple has added a new playlist to its Music service that allows users to listen to newly released music every day. The music seems to be the same for every user and has different genres.

It concerns the playlist New Music Daily, to which users of the music streaming service can subscribe. Apple promises to add new music from “around the world” and include a variety of genres. Incidentally, the list does not seem to be based on the user’s listening behavior: the playlist seems to be the same for everyone.

Competitors have similar playlists; for example, Spotify has Discover Weekly, a playlist that refreshes weekly in which the user is presented with new music. Incidentally, New Music Daily replaces the Best of The Week playlist, where Apple presented new music every week; the new list is therefore refreshed daily.
