Apple Music app for Android supports save music to SD card
Apple has released an update to its Music app for Android. The update makes it possible to store music offline on an SD card. Previously, it was only possible to store music offline on the internal memory of smartphones and tablets.
The update also allows users to see the entire Beats 1 radio station schedule and it is now possible to select Composers and Compilations when browsing My Music. That should simplify finding classic albums and movie soundtracks, according to Apple. Support for Google’s Chromecast dongle or the Cast API is missing from the app.
The Android version of the Apple Music app is still in beta and has now reached version number 0.9.5. The first version appeared in the Google Play Store in November 2015. The app allows the use of Apple’s music streaming service. Apple Music, according to recent reports, has about ten million paying users. Music is the first service for which Apple has released an application for Android.
