Apple makes its Arcade service available early with 54 games
Apple has already launched its Arcade game subscription service just days before its official launch on September 19. Users report that they can subscribe and access more than fifty games.
The users who can already purchase Apple Arcade, including a trial period of one month, are running iOS 13 or the latest beta of iOS 13.1, MacRumors writes. The service can be used on an iPhone, the iPad, Apple TV and the Mac will follow later. There are currently 54 games part of Arcade; that number must have increased to more than 100 by the fall and expanded monthly.
Apple Arcade officially launches on Thursday, and although the company has released a press release about the launch, Apple mentions the September 19 date there as well. Apple Arcade costs 5 euros per month. For that amount, users can download and play unlimited games via iOS, iPadOS, macOS and tvOS. The games have no in-app purchases and are playable as long as the subscription is active.
