‘Apple is working on a 32-inch iMac, but it won’t be released for a while’
Apple is said to be working on a 32″ version of the iMac. There is now a 24″ variant, but there is currently no larger one. The larger version wouldn’t be released before the end of next year, says Bloomberg author Mark Gurman.
The 32″ version of the iMac is in development, Gurman says according to The Verge in the paid and closed part of his newsletter. However, a lot can still change before the larger iMac appears, Gurman notes. The release would be in 2025 at the earliest.
Previously, Apple always had two sizes of its iMac: one with a 21″ display and one with a 27.5″ panel. For several years now there has only been one size: 24″. Apple has not responded to the rumor. Gurman is known to have a lot of knowledge about unannounced Apple products.
