Apple investigating reports that iPhone X users can’t answer calls oproep

Apple has told The Financial Times that it is investigating reports of customers unable to take incoming calls with their iPhone X. It is unclear how many people are involved in this.

There are several reports on the official Apple forum where customers describe their problem. For example, affected users say that sometimes the screen does not turn on even though a call comes in and the phone rings. As a result, they cannot accept the call. The delay between receiving a call and turning on the screen seems to be variable.

Apple tells The Financial Times it is “investigating the reports,” without giving any further details. On the Apple forum, the manufacturer proposes, among other things, to close the Phone app and restart the device. A reinstall of iOS is also one of the possible solutions. It is unclear whether these actions actually fix the problem.

Apple released the iPhone X in November. In announcing its quarterly results, the company said the device has been its best-selling model since its release.
