Apple details feature to record gameplay footage in iOS 9
Apple has provided details of ReplayKit, which allows developers to let users record gameplay and audio without using external equipment or any other app. The function suppresses notifications.
The function only works if developers integrate it into their game, writes 9to5 Mac, but according to the site, it can already be done with a few lines of code. Then users can see the feature as the app asks for permission to record on-screen images and audio.
After creating the gameplay footage, users can make some edits such as cutting, after which they can share the footage themselves. By default, the gameplay video remains only on the device. Apple announced iOS 9 earlier this week. The update would include a better battery life, while digital assistant Siri has also received many new functions. The new operating system will be released as an update in the fall for all iPhones from the 4s, iPads from the iPad 2 and the iPod touch v5.
