Apple comes with magnetic power bank for iPhone 12

Apple has announced its own power bank for the iPhone 12 series. The MagSafe Battery Pack can be clipped onto the back of the iPhone 12 via the MagSafe system to charge the phone.

The MagSafe Battery Pack is available on Apple’s own website for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone Pro Max. The MagSafe Battery Pack can charge a phone with 5W. A Lightning cable is required to charge the power bank itself.

It is not the first iPhone accessory that Apple sells for the iPhone that uses the magnetic click system. There are also already a number of cases, card holders and chargers that can be connected to Apple’s phones in this way.

The power bank costs 109 euros and users need iOS 14.7 or newer in addition to an iPhone 12 to use the MagSafe Battery Pack. The power bank comes without charger or cable.
