“Apple comes with a larger version of iPhone 9 with A13-soc”
The website 9to5Mac states based on findings, based on an early version of iOS 14, that Apple is not only coming with a regular iPhone 9, but also with a larger model, which may be called iPhone 9 Plus.
According to 9to5Mac, the findings from the iOS 14 code point to the arrival of a larger version of the unannounced iPhone 9. This iPhone 9 and 9 Plus should replace the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Both iPhone 9 devices would have the A13 soc.
Few details are known yet, but it was previously mentioned that the iPhone 9 will look exactly like the iPhone 8 from 2017, with a 4.7″ LCD and a single camera on the back. The iPhone 8 Plus has a screen diagonal from 5.5″. It is therefore obvious that the larger iPhone 9 will also have a 5.5 “screen.
The names iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus are still speculative; there are also rumors that the name iPhone SE 2 instead of iPhone 9. When the devices come out, they will most likely be relatively cheaper entry-level models, so that they support Touch ID and not Face ID, for example. Furthermore, as with the iPhone 7 and 8, the home button would not be physically pressed, but would work via touch sensitivity and the Taptic Engine to simulate the idea of pressing.
Apple has not officially announced the devices yet. Earlier, there was a rumor that a presentation on March 31, at an event where Apple would also like to release iOS version 13.4 for existing devices.
