Apple comes with a fix for bluetooth problems MacBooks with M1-soc
Apple comes with a fix for the bluetooth problems of its latest MacBooks, the laptops with M1-soc. Many users report problems connecting devices via bluetooth. It is unknown what exactly is causing this.
Apple itself has not put a statement online, but The 8-Bit quotes an author from The Atlantic who reports in a tweet that an Apple employee told him a fix for macOS is on the way. Since it is a software update, the problems with bluetooth do not seem to be due to the hardware of the laptops.
Many users of the laptops that appeared a few months ago report problems connecting devices via bluetooth. Hardware with its own Bluetooth dongle, such as USB-C hubs and mice with their own receivers, will work with the laptops. In addition to the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, it concerns the Mac mini with M1-soc. Apple released the three new devices with its own soc in November last year. They are the first three macOS devices with Apple’s own soc on board.
