Apple has announced the One more thing event. It will be held on November 10 at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, US, but can also be followed online. Presumably it is about the switch from Intel to ARM for Mac systems.

The announcement image does not reveal what the event will be about, but it is believed that it will revolve around the trade-in of Intel and the x86 architecture for ARM chips for Mac systems. The Cupertino company already indicated in June that it will switch to its own ARM chips, that a Mac with ARM chip will appear for consumers at the end of this year and that the entire switch will be completed in two years.

Earlier there was a rumor that Apple wanted to hold an event on November 17 to present its first Mac computer with a self-developed ARM processor. The announcement for that would take place on November 10th. That rumor came from Jon Prossor, who previously correctly predicted the date for the earlier iPhone event and provided correct information about when which iPhone would be released. The data from Prossor mentioned does not appear to be entirely correct, but it is obvious that in terms of content it will indeed be a Mac with an ARM chip.

In addition to the ARM Mac, Apple would also like to show AirTags at the event. These are small devices that work with the U1 ultra-wide band chip for precise localization of, for example, bunches of keys. MacOS 11 Big Sur may also be officially introduced.
