Developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts have announced the release date for the mobile version of Apex Legends. Apex Legends Mobile will be released on May 17, 2022 for both iOS and Android.

The launch trailer for the game’s release has already been posted online by Respawn Entertainment. No new gameplay is shown in the trailer, but the characters from the game are briefly introduced. What is striking is that we only see the characters that were also in the first season of the PC and console version.

Details about the playable characters, levels and play modes have not yet been announced. However, we can conclude from an earlier trailer that the mobile version of Apex Legends will contain its own modes. The game would, among other things, get a ‘mini royale’ mode. The mobile game also has its own events.

The game was announced back in 2020 and early this year the game has already been tested in a number of countries in Asia with a limited number of players. The mobile version is separate from Apex Legends for PC and consoles. The original game was released in 2019 and got a major update this week, including a new character to play with.

from a EA . financial report Released Tuesday, Apex Legends has reported net revenue of $2 billion since its release. EA expects the release of Apex Legends Mobile to bring more financial growth in the coming year.
