Apex Legends is coming to Switch and Steam in the fall and getting crossplay

EA will release battle royale game Apex Legends in the fall for Nintendo Switch and on Steam. All versions of the game will therefore have crossplay; also the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions.

Images of the Switch version have not yet been shown. Developer Respawn Entertainment announced that the port is coming during the EA Play event. The game will also come to Steam in the fall, now the PC version is only available through Origin. There is no exact release date for the Steam version yet.

EA and Respawn will crossplay all versions of Apex Legends. This makes it possible for players with a Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC to all be in the same game. Furthermore, Respawn announced the Lost Treasures Collection Event. A trailer has also been shown.
