AOC releases curved 35″ gaming monitor in February for 799 euros
AOC will release its C3583FQ monitor for gamers in February. The screen has a diagonal of 35″, aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 2560×1080 pixels. With a suggested retail price of 799 euros, it is the cheapest of its kind.
AOC announced the arrival of the 35″ monitor with curve in December 2015, not all information was known at the time. Now the monitor has a product page and all technical details have been released. Like the other 35″ monitors available, AOC uses a mva panel. The response time is 4ms and the panel has a refresh rate of 160Hz, with support for AMD’s FreeSync. There are two HDMI-MHL ports and two displayport inputs. The screen has audio connections and built-in speakers.
There is a game mode that can be selected as a color profile. According to the manufacturer, the brightness and contrast of the screen are optimized for games in this. Previously, Acer and BenQ released curved 35″ monitors with a resolution of 2560×1080 pixels, but these are more expensive than AOC’s C3583FQ.
