AOC releases 35″ gaming monitor with G-Sync and 120Hz for $899
AOC has released the AG3562UCG6, a 35″ gaming monitor that features G-Sync, a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The monitor is sold on the American site of Amazon, among others, for $899.
The AG3562UCG6 monitor is an update of the 35″ monitor released in 2017, the AG352UCG, which has a 100Hz panel. Apart from the higher maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, the new monitor is largely the same as its predecessor.
The new monitor has an MVA panel, has a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m², a response time of 4ms and a contrast ratio of 2500:1. The AG352UCG had a contrast ratio of 2000:1. Furthermore, the monitor has a curved panel with a curvature of 1800R, equal to the curvature of a circle with a radius of 1.8 meters.
AOC announced the new monitor in February, but no price was announced at the time. It is not yet clear when the monitor will be available in Europe and for what exact price, but if the dollar price is converted, the monitor will cost about 883 euros including VAT. That is approximately equal to the suggested retail price of 899 euros that the AG352UCG received in 2017.
