AOC announced two new 32-inch displays on Tuesday: one with UHD and one with QHD resolution. The displays, which will be available next month, are equipped with technology to reduce flicker to the eyes.

It concerns the U3277PQU with ahva-ips panel of 3840 by 2160 pixels and the Q3277PQU with amva panel of 2560 by 1440 pixels. According to the Chinese TPV subsidiary, both monitors can display one hundred percent of the sRGB color space. In addition, they have a screen brightness of 350cd/m2 and 300cd/m2, respectively, according to AOC.

According to AOC, the screens are aimed at home users, photo editors, designers and other professionals who have to work on a large screen to a detailed level. The electronics manufacturer has provided the screens with, among other things, flicker-free technology, which would make it more pleasant for the eyes to look at the screens due to high refresh rates.

The U3277PQU and the Q3277PQU are equipped with multiple connections, including displayport, hdmi, dvi and vga. They also have a USB 3.0 hub. The U3277PQU also has an HDMI 2.0 connection with which UHD videos up to sixty fps can be viewed. Finally, the frames of both screens can be mounted on the wall thanks to a vesa stand.

AOC has announced that the U3277PQU and the AOC Q3277PQU will be available from August. The suggested retail price is 999 and 599 euros respectively, with a three-year warranty.
