AOC Releases 27″ IPS Gaming Monitor with G-Sync in April
AOC has announced a new gaming monitor in its Agon series. It is the first model with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The screen diagonal is 27 “and there is support for G-Sync.
The AOC AG271UG uses an IPS panel with viewing angles up to 178 degrees. The maximum refresh rate is 60Hz. In addition, the screen has a response time of 4ms and can produce a maximum brightness of 300cd/m2. The contrast ratio is 1000:1. Due to the support for G-Sync, the display and the GPU must work synchronously, so that tearing and stuttering are prevented.
Both an HDMI and DisplayPort connection provide connectivity. In addition, there are four USB 3.0 ports, in addition to an audio output and a microphone connection. The screen can be rotated and tilted, and can be adjusted in height. There is a fold-out hook on the side of the screen to which, for example, headphones can be hung. AOC says it wants to release the monitor in April this year for a price of 749 euros.
