AOC equips curved 35″ monitor with 100Hz panel with G-Sync
AOC has announced the AG352UCG in its Agon line of gaming monitors. This 35″ monitor with G-Sync support has a 21:9 aspect ratio and a curved panel. The manufacturer charges a suggested retail price of 899 euros.
The AOC AGON AG352UCG offers a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and the curved VA panel delivers a refresh rate of 100Hz. Nvidia’s integrated G-Sync module should reduce tearing and stuttering. AOC has itself added a monitor setting to its display that would reduce ghosting and motion blur, although it is not known to what extent this works.
The screen contains HDMI, displayport, four USB 3.0 ports and integrated speakers. Users can adjust the height of the AGON on its stand and tilt and swivel the screen. In addition, a handle has been added that should make it easy to transport the monitor, for example to lan parties.
Furthermore, LED lighting has been added to the back and the bottom, which can be set in three colors and three brightness levels. In March, the AG352UCG will be on the market in the Benelux for a suggested retail price of 899 euros.
