AOC Announces Its First Two Over-Ear Gaming Headsets
Screen manufacturer AOC is going to make gaming accessories and starts with two over-ear headphones. The audio products are aimed at gamers and have a detachable microphone. The GH300 is a more luxurious variant of the GH200 with 7.1 virtual surround sound and RGB lighting.
According to AOC, the two headphones will receive two 50mm neodymium drivers with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. The detachable microphone has a frequency range of 100Hz to 10kHz. Both headphones get a two-meter cable with remote control. With this remote control the volume can be adjusted and the microphone can be switched on or off. The two headphones also have a steel, adjustable headband and the ear cushions are made of synthetic leather and memory foam.
The GH200 comes in gunmetal and gets a 3.5mm jack. The GH300 gets a red color, a USB connection and support for virtual surround sound. The RGB lighting of these more expensive headphones can be controlled via the remote control and has four modes; breathing, cyclic, static and off. Finally, the microphone boom of the more expensive headphones has an LED light that indicates when the microphone is muted.
Both headphones will be available from May. The AOC GH200 costs 42.90 euros, the GH300 costs 55.90 euros.
